What are the early symptoms of digestive cancer and leg cancer?
early signs of stomach (digestive) cancer include:
feeling full after eating only a small meal
heartburn
stomach pain
nausea
vomiting
difficulty swallowing
As the cancer grows, you may have other symptoms such as weight loss, vomiting blood, or passing blood in feces. This isn’t usually fresh, red blood, but dark blood. The blood loss may go unnoticed, but over a period of time, it can cause anaemia (when you have too few red blood cells or not enough haemoglobin in your blood).
If by leg cancer you mean bone cancer…Symptoms of bone cancer vary from person to person and depending on the location and size of the cancer. The most common symptoms are pain and swelling or tenderness in the affected area. Sometimes bone cancer can interfere with movement and can weaken the bones, occasionally leading to a fracture. Other symptoms of cancer may include tiredness, fever, weight loss, and anaemia. None of these symptoms is a sure sign of cancer; if you suspect you have a health problem consult your doctor.
Hair falls out with some (most) of the chemo treatments. Fever shouldn’t occur with treatments over 100.4 degrees F.. if it does one should seek medical treatment immediately. I haven’t heard of yellow eyes but then have not studied liver disease.. ..that could cause it like a jaundice condition only way more series.

What are the symptoms when someone has cancer and it goes to their brain?
My mom was admitted on 1/1/08 because of severe pain and nausea. They performed a CAT scan and found out that her cancer has metasticized to her menenges (outermost area of the brain) and spine. Her pain and nausea progressively got worse over the last 2-3 weeks of 2007.
As a side note, the MRI from early December showed nothing.

My mother died from this when she was 31, as she was diagnosed too late. I’m 20 and have just been diagnosed with a possibility of having Irritable Bowel Syndrome. Seeing as I’ve heard colonic cancer is genetic, should I be getting checked out the possibility of cancer?
Also, for people who have suffered from colon cancer- what were the earliest symptoms that you got?
I don’t mean to sound like a hypochondriac-it’s just I don’t want to find out too late like my mother did.
The problem with colon cancer is that it shows no symptoms at early stages. It only starts showing when it’s advanced. The symptoms are:
- Blood flecks in your stools, particularly if the blood is dark or plum-coloured. This is the most commonly noticed symptom and should never be ignored.
- A change in your regular bowel habits, such as constipation or diarrhoea, that’s severe or lasts for two weeks or more.
- Abdominal pain or discomfort that lasts for two weeks or more.
- Unexplained weight loss.
To get cancer at a young age it is most likely genetic. I’m going to see a genetic doctor because I was diagnosed at 20. If any close relative has had colon cancer at a young age, you should ensure your doctor rules that out, instead of diagnosing you without any tests for cancer. I was told I probably have IBS, but luckily, she wanted to do more tests to be on the safe side. Although some people do get it at a young age without there being a genetic factor involved.

My Westie is 11 years old and is generally in good health. Lately he has been acting like he feels sick right after eating. He eats dry kibbles, the same kind he’s always eaten and they’ve never affected him before. I’m overly cautious about him so I always fear the worst and want to make sure he doesn’t have stomach cancer but I haven’t been able to find anything about if dogs exhibit symptoms. Anyone know?
I would think loss of appetite, sick to stomach, maybe bloody stool. My husband was diagnosed with stomach cancer earlier this year with no symptoms at all. Thankfully it was caught early.

I have a history of cancer in my family and one of the things I’m most worried about is Cervical Cancer. What exactly are the symptoms?
My best friend died this past august as a result of having cervical cancer.
first and foremost, cervical cancer is the only cancer that you get as a result of being infected from a virus. The virus is HPV.
there are 30 to 40 types of HPV genital types. But there are 2 types #16 and #18 )which cause 70-percent of cervical cancers.
HPV TRANSMISSION—WHO GETS IT?
Human papillomavirus (HPV) affects both females and males. HPV transmission can happen with any kind of sexual, genital contact with someone who has HPV—intercourse isn’t necessary.
Many people who have HPV don’t even know it, since the virus often has no signs or symptoms. That means HPV transmission can happen without anyone knowing it.
There are about 6 million new cases of genital HPV* in the United States each year. It’s estimated that 74% of them occur in 15- to 24-year-olds.
MY BEST friend was experiencing a lot of pain when she urinated. doctors kept treating her for kidney stones. her lower back ached a lot too. she became depressed and everyone thought she was being hypochondriac. Later on it turns out, the pain she was feeling…was the tumor pressing up against her ureters. This is why she felt she had to pee all the time and also explains her lower back pain. she described it as a very dull aching sensation.
The best way to prevent this frm happening…is to just go to routine pap smears. That is what the pap smear is for. To see if there is any irregularity with your cells on your cervix. You should go every 6 months.–if my friend had gone to her pap smears regulary..she would most likely be here today…i miss her so much.’
